US Research Unit: Solano Clinical Research

Solano Clinical Research is an independent investigative site fully dedicated to conducting clinical trials in dermatology, vaccines and women’s health. Our GCP and ICH compliant facility is located in the Northern California city of Vallejo in Solano County with a population of 395,000. Located in a medical complex in close proximity to Sutter Solano Medical Center, our site is easily accessible from three international airports in Oakland (37 miles), Sacramento (61 miles) and San Francisco (45 miles).

Phase I - IV Clinical Studies

Solano Clinical Research has completed over 200 Phase I – IV studies since 1986. Areas of experience include bioequivalence, outpatient PK/Absorption, safety, efficacy, immunogenicity and tolerability studies. Your study will start on time because of rapid recruitment and the use of a central IRB of your choice. Our on-site Recruiting/Retention Specialist maintains a well-characterized volunteer database for a variety of diseases and indications in addition to healthy volunteers. Staffing includes Board Certified Physicians in Dermatology, Internal Medicine, OB-GYN and Pediatrics, certified Clinical Coordinators, Registered Nurses and Research Technicians.

bioskin is a leading full-service dermatology clinical research organization (CRO) in Europe, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. bioskin manages and conducts clinical trials for drugs (Phase I - IV), cosmetics, nutraceuticals and medical devices. Services include protocol design, patient and investigator recruitment, monitoring, data management, statistics and medical writing.

Proof-of-concept Studies

bioskin offers innovative proof-of-concept test models for early evaluation of efficacy of topical drugs, using bioengineering methods to objectively evaluate endpoints. Test models include the Psoriasis Plaque Test, UV Erythema Test for anti-inflammatories, and the Vasoconstrictor Assay for glucocorticoids. Phase I – III Clinical Studies

bioskin manages and conducts phase I safety studies and phase II efficacy studies for a number of dermatological indications at its clinical units in Hamburg and Berlin Germany. A large database of healthy volunteers and patients profiled for skin condition and disease are maintained, assuring fast, reliable recruitment. bioskin also manages multicenter, multinational trials using a network of dermatologists and university hospitals throughout Europe, allowing recruitment of even difficult-to-find (naïve) and severely diseased patients.
