bioskin is a leading full-service dermatology clinical research organization (CRO) in Europe, headquartered in Hamburg Germany. bioskin manages clinical trials for most dermatological indications and offers a full range of clinical services including Phase 1- 4 clinical trials, protocol design, monitoring, statistics, data management and medical writing.

Proof-of-concept studies

bioskin has developed several innovative proof-of-concept test models for early evaluation of efficacy of topical drugs, using bioengineering tools to objectively evaluate end points. These models include the Psoriasis Plaque test, the Suction Blister test for superficial wound healing, and the UV-induced Erythema test for anti-inflammatory and analgesic products. Other test models are available.

Phase 1- 3 studies

bioskin maintains a large database of healthy volunteers and conducts the full battery of Phase 1 Safety Studies, each designed to meet your specific pharmaceutical clinical research needs. We maintain a large database of patients, profiled for skin condition and disease, to assure fast, reliable recruitment. Through our network of dermatologists and university hospitals in Europe, we have rapid access to difficult-to-find (naïve) and severely diseased patients. We conduct and manage your phase I and 2 trials internally. For large Phase 3 multi-center studies, we work closely with other CROs in Europe.
